Hello everybody,
I'm glad to introduce myself to this excellent forum, where the expertise of you guys helped me a lot already figuring out few things.
You can see my car in my profile - bought it a month ago - and now thanks to 77nomad I know exactly what it is: 1979 Camaro Berlinetta 305 imported to Europe in 2010, with 350 5.7 V8 rebuilt engine with 2.2k miles on it.
I love it, it's splendid and it's a dream to drive. I get 200 BPM (yes, heartbeats) when I know I'm about to drive it in the next hours.
It's oversecured (gps/gsm car alarm, 2 SAS NEW DEFENDER wheel clamps and 1 steering wheel lock (all secure gold certified). Sleeping under a 4 layer stormforce car cover in my driveway.
It has a custom dashboard (aluminium made, with all standard gauges) and it's all rubber sealed with few imperfections here and there that I'll be glad to work on in the future. Interns are excellent so far.
My goal with this car, not being a mechanic at all, is to learn on the way about it. Hopefully I'll have to deal only with minor problem, given the fact that my finances are not at my best and that I won't be able to afford a mechanic anytime soon![Smile](https://camaroforums.com/forum/images/smilies/smile.gif)
I hope one day I'll be able to become a useful resource in this forum as you are to me now.
For the moment, I'll try to keep my post as detailed as possible so that other members with same problems / concerns / thoughts can find a solution in your replied
