Back in a Camaro Again
Hi!
A new old guy here.
The Norwood GMAD plant was not far from here and was one of the original homes of Camaros & Firebirds.
And and I've had a few.
My first was a 1974 COPO Camaro with a very large piece of iron under a slightly bulged hood. All the hoses, pumps & filters strangled the big block's respiration.
My last until now was an '84 just before I started my minivan years.
My new one is a 2000 Convertible with a V6 that is only about 75hp down from that 1st one but with a TON better gas mileage.
In between, I've been a C5 Corvette owner, but my hands have slowed and my footwork stinks so I found a V6 automatic rag top to go crusin' with my best girl.
See ya 'round.

To date:
3 Camaros
2 Firebirds
1 Fiero V6
1 C5 6-speed Corvette
BTW, I drove the Vette as fast as it goes (rev limiter in 5th gear about 175mph) at Talladega in 2004.
GM has shown me a pretty good time over the years (67).
