I've had a 97 RS and an 02WS6 T/A in the past. My wife recently gave me the green light to buy a classic car. I have always wanted a 1st gen F body. I looked at the mid-late 70s T/As (I like those too) but I know Id regret not getting what I really want down the road.

I have a very limited background when it comes to working on cars. Fortunately I have some very good friends and a neighbor who is a retired mechanic. I'm in the process of searching for a car now to buy. I'm here mainly now to read and lean as much as I can about them.

I'm in the Atlanta area. If any of you guys are nearby and want another set of hands or some company let me know...I'll bring the beer.
