Whats goin on! I'm about to pick up a 97 camaro ss this Tuesday from my buddy in the car business. He's bought a few cars from me - I owe him one. Its a black over beige cloth 6 speed and I really can't wait to get her home. Shes high on the milage but I see potential...I'll hopefully be posting pics soon!

Well I got the ss home today but someone managed to steal the digital camera out of my jetta a few weeks ago...so I'm screwed in terms of taking pics. I will get another camera asap though. I did a bit of cleaning today (mostly interior), noticed that it ran nice and cool but started to heat up while driving at low speeds. I'm pretty sure its not running on 8 cylinders (doesn't sound quote right) and I need to get at least all the fluids flushed asap. I may need this forum because I stopped at a Chevy dealer and they told me they didn't have an oil filter in stock???

It has an open recall, I wonder if a dealership will even work on the car considering its condition, service engine light is on. Front wheel is bent a bit. Air blows ice cold though...the car has a coat of wax on and looks great in the rain, but it going to take a few days to clean it up right.

All in all the car doesn't seem to be so bad for its milage and I'm hoping I can get it sorted for not too much loot.

 

Well I've had the car about a week now, and I just got back from the dealership. Had the oil changed and the car inspected, I've been told everything looks fine! I can't believe it though, with 193k on the odo! I've spent some time buffing and steam cleaning it, and as soon as I locate a digi cam I'm postin!
