Hi all, I am new to the camaro forum, I am a member of the corvette forum, just sold my 69 350/350 4-speed corvette, and am now looking at a 72 z28 camaro. The z28 im looking to purchase is supose to be a 1972 z28, it is white with blue stripes? also it has a m-22 trans, and a posie rear end, my biggest Question is that the front nose of the car its a split bumper car with banna driving lights below the split bumpers, so its not an RS, nor is it an ss did 1972 z28 come like this, split bumper and banna style driving lights below the bumpers, most pics i have looked at and all info i have read seems to me that the 72 z28 had a full bumper. The owner list the car as an orignal 72 z28, am i missing something here, or is this configuration completely wrong and been faked or something. I know if it is a real 72 z then the fifth letter in the vin will be a " L" hope for some answers here thanks for all you help, looking forward to owning my second z28, my first was a 1974 z28 back in the day bought it new, sold it 15 years later great car, but not a speed demon thanks again for any and all help.
