Default 1967 Camaro RS

Just purchased my first Camaro. A 1967 RS numbers matching basic Camaro. 327/210hp, 3 speed manual transmission. No a/c, power brakes or steering. 44,000 mile car that was restored in 2003 and then stored for the next 14 years. In process of replacing all fluids, oil, brake, coolant and gas and tank. Restoration was pretty good and the car has held up in storage.

One problem I have is that the A pillar trim was not installed. In trying to figure out why I discovered that a new dash pad was installed before the A pillars were put on. I think I have to remove the dash pad install the pillars and reinstall the dash pad. Is this correct???

Looking forward to enjoying the car and this forum.

Ed

I think so, been a long time but if memory serves the dash pad should be pretty easy on and off. Nice little Camaro by the way, cool that it was left stock and not cloned into an SS or something.

Welcome, usered, to the Club - nice Camaro - enjoy your new journey with her.
No, A-pillar trim goes on after dashpad.
Bottom screw is about two inches long and top screw is about an inch long.
