~new to the game~
Hey, my name is Karen and I just bought a 99 Camaro SS. V8. 5.7L. LS1. It has 70K miles. but it is very clean. I was actually in the market for a Firebird, but when I test drove this car, I fell in love! I took it to the drag strip (1/8 mile) and the best time I got was 9.2. I was a little dissapointed =( but thats ok. I plan on doing some work to it to beef up the HP. (along with a radar detector!) If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know! Thanks!

If its anything like mine it will be hard to keep clean , specially the black. That is why I hardly ever drive mine and leave it in the garge. Since I have owned it , it has never been rained or snowed on. I probably put less then 30 miles on it a week , if that much. This year alone I have probably waxed my car more then I have mowed my lawn.
How does the interior look ???

haha! i know what you mean about the lawn! I spent 5 hours washing and waxing on Sat. The interior is very clean. I need to get a new gear shifter(it has a hole in the leather) and the driver seat leather is a little worn. but other than that it is very nice. I am very excited about working on it! I will have more pics up later on. I am having the wheels painted black and the brake calipers painted red. (to match the SS badge) =) I am also installing a Ford 9inch rear axle in the begining of aug. Well I will keep my progress posted!

hey, i know how you feel i just bought my 99 SS like 3 weeks ago...mines silver...i love it and worth every penny
