*waves* Hello!
I've been lurking, but decided to register tonight. Wall of text alert.
I have a 93 Camaro 3.4 v6, named Ruby, and she's my daily driver. She's a bit of an angry girl right now, but I'm working on that. =] I've had her since June 2011.
List of car repairs (Counting parts replaced, essentially):
Spark plugs/wires
Battery
A/C (still has a valve leak)
Power Steering Pump
Power Steering Pump Pulley
Oxygen Sensor
Hood struts
Hood latch
Next repair: Front left brake caliper
Smog cover
The carfax report stops abruptly in 2004. The car seems to have sat in a Louisiana field until 2010ish. I've been working on the assumption that I'm the first person to care about this car since 2004. We cleared out a dead hornet's nest this past weekend while changing the power steering pump.
My goal is to have the car as good as new as possible within a year. I'm lucky to have awesome friends. I supply the parts, water, food, and learn while they do the labor. Although, when I replace the suspension & exhaust, the car's going to a shop.
Ruby's my first camaro, and first 4th gen. The first car I ever purchased was a 84 Firebird. I miss her.
Anyways, I'm sure I'll have questions later. =]
