On my 96z28 a4,I have a lt1 engine with the cast iron heads.. A CAI, and a bbk 52 throttle body. I know the engine I have in it is rated 260/335. Just curious what my rwhp will be around. Thanks!

230 rwhp is about what a stock dyno shows. that would be on a mustang dyno which is known to show low numbers. stock lt1 has dyno'd as high as 285 rwhp. that would be like the 96 ss, just shows they dont all seem to fall in certain numbers.

Hot Rod did a test a few years back on '96 Z28 to see how it responded to old school mods. It had the six speed though, but still produced 265 rwhp @ 5000 rpm and 308 rwtq @ 3250 rpm. A stock '96 from a F-body was rated 285 at the flywheel.
I'd say since you have iron heads and a A4, you're probably close to 225-230. But mileage, condition of the engine, oil, trans fluid condition and diff fluid condition could all have an effect on HP, but it'd be marginal at best. But like Mike said, dyno it and find out.
