my buddy has a 94 z28 and wants to put z06 wheels on it..what size spacers will he need?

 

well if he gets 17's in the front he should need it. I think you need spacers only if your wheels are 18's and up

 

i thought the spacers were because of the different backspacing off the wheels and they ownt fit inside a camaros wheel wells

 

no you don't need spacers, I had 18 x 9.5's on my v6 with 255 front 275 back and it was fine no rubbing anywhere at all, you'll be fine.

i heard spacers can be bad or dangerous or something... but i dont remember when or where i heard that.

 

As long as you get an OEM spec Vette wheel you should be fine. You may have to do some light modding to your hub if you get a wheel that is an actual Z06 take off, but any of the OEM factory replicas will work fine. **refer to sig for proof **
