Ok so like most of us my windows where getting slower and slower...and i hate messing with the dang things so i bit the bullet and had motors and regulators installed...well i tried. The shop said my driver window track was really messed up and not re usable. No parts houses carry this and when they called Gm they where told it was discontinued and to "get creative" I now have no driver window...Any ideas

 

Junk yard or eBay or Craigslist. Post some picks of the damaged window tracks. Maybe we can give you some ideas of how to repair/refurbish it.

Also, if you only replaced the motors, they will fail again. Autotrix makes a kit that supplies full 12 volts to the motors which greatly extends their life and increases the speed of the window.

 

Okay ill try and get pictures...Ebay has nothing and craigslist has a guy selling a door so im going to see if the window assembly is still in there...Could i possibly get a link to that 12 volt?
