Default wheels...

I'm looking for some nice wheels to go on my Z/28. I'm not looking for anything bigger than 18" but I want wider wheels. I have no clue what the depth capacity is for this vehicle... I'm thinking 9 inch fronts and 11 inch rears (if i can fit them) is this possible? I don't want to do to much modding, just slap on would be nice...

the offset is whats important you could fit a 20 inch wide tire if you get a big enough offset

oe concepts has some of the best package deals out there of tires and wheels. If you can afford all around and are looking for new then check them out.

You will probably need to open the rear wheels by 1/4 inch because the older 4th gens have a little larger rear hub and wheels tend not to fit right on.

my 95Z has 17 x 9.5 all around and I run 275 40 17's all around. I gather I could go as wide as 315's in the back but an 11 inch tire is enough

check out this. In fact, they look like my wheels

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/17-Bl...item43a868fdb9

$927 and you get wheels and tires already mounted and balanced and shipping is included. That's $115 per item and you can't get buy qty 4 275 40 17 new tires mounted and balanced for $460

As I said, best deals around

I dunno

Korean tires have come a long way. I'm now running these on the 95 Z

products : Nexen Tires

so far they are wearing much better than the more expensive Toyo Proxes i ran prior and the Hankooks before that.

I buy tires for 6 vehicles so I'm a rolling test lab and I am in no way shape or form disappointed with the N7000. The Toyo Proxes were a disappointment based on how much they cost. I run different Toyos on my Stang. They are touring style and those are much better than the Proxes.

I bought one of those package deals from OE wheel and they came with Nexen 3000 series tires on them and so far they have been a really good tire. The handling of my car improved tenfold with the rims and tires and they are wearing pretty nice for performance tires. For the price I cant complain. I will prolly buy another set when these need to be replaced.

I believe the 3000 is a summer tire isn't it? You really don't want to use summer tires in FL and other hot climates. They don't last very long. But a first hand review of the 3000 is a good thing

Here is WA we dont get the asphault hot enough to do much of anything. I noticed when I lived in FL that most of the roads were concrete. I cant imagine why... ok yes I can asphault will prolly never harden there. The 3000 is considered a 3 season tire. It does great in the dry and better than most in the rain. When winter hits here I am going to pull the Corvette wheels off Diamond and put the all seasons we bought last year on for the winter.
