wheel bearings on a 1996 Z28.
so i was just wondering how hard is it to replace them because they are making an awful noise and causes my handling to be really bad.
what is all needed to get them fixed?
should i just get them done professionally or easier/cheaper to do it myself?
i have a tire question.
i have 225 16s up front and 255 16s out back.
what is the biggest i can go on the stock rims for both front and back?
if i put 255s on front and back will it wear out my front end quick?
thanks for the help guys and gals.

i cant remember the cost but im thinkin it was a pretty good sum like 5 hundred for both. that was a couple yrs ago so im not sure. there not to hard to change and if u havnt had a brake job in some time now would be a good time cause ull be taken them off. thats the hardest part. u dont just change the bearings u change the hub also so u really dont mess with the bearings themselves. its four bolts and a speed sensor wire.
150 + taxs from the autozone for a hub and bearing assembly. 55+ tax on the cmax pads. check ur rotors and see if the need to be refinished while u gotem off shouldnt take a brake shop a day or so its worth it cuz u dont want to be doin that tear down again. check ur lines u know the usual wear and tear stuff. preventative maitence will always safe u alota crud from tearin up later on down the road
