Do you have the whole Edelbrock TES or just the shorty headers? If you don't have the whole system with the Y pipe as well, get the Edelbrock Mandrel bent Y pipe, it'll probably help more than the headers did. Other than that, sounds like it's time to start making some drive train upgrades, more agressive gears for the rear end, if it's a manual, a short throw, if it's an auto either a shift kit or get the PCM programmed to shift faster.

Ya, if you want it to be streetable, 4.10's are a bit too agressive, and it will throw your fuel economy to crap...If you haven't already, I'd suggest investing in some new wheels that are wider and get some good tires on it. Get some wheels that look better than the stockers. If you have the money to throw at it, get some of the Chrome 17" ZR1 replicas by OE Concepts, you can get them in an 11" for the rear and 9.5" for the front, so you can run 315's on the back. The wheels aren't too expensive, but the 315's get pricy.
