Default what is it worth

A woman I know is trying to find out what a 1997 camaro is worth.Normally it wouldnt be to hard but this one has me stumped. It is the 97 ss with the LT4.Car is perfect with only 200 miles on it.She wants to sell it and needs to figure out what to sell it for.Car would be a perfect car for a collection some place.

Wow...well, since there were only 100 made total you have some research to do. To be entirely honest with you I can't say. Research the completed listings on Ebay (one has to have gone there, just make sure it's legit) and check it with other listings etc. Good luck, that's a rare car you're pursuing...

yeah there really isn't a price you can put on that car...if its legit and came with the lt4 and truly only has 200 miles, she could be worth a hell of a lot

A friend went and looked at the car and its what the woman says it is.Like I said before, great car for a collection. Is there any camaro experts I can contact that might be able to guess what its worth?

Might be something for Barrett-Jackson.

Default what its worth

My friend was saying the same thing. The only problem is we are in Alaska but it might be in her best interest to find a way to get it there. Its one thing that it is one of 100 but to have only 200 miles on it adds alot to it.

It's really hard to tell you what the car is worth since we never see them come and go. You said your friend checked it out, I would recommend getting the VIN and contacting SLP just to make sure everything is legit (you can't be too careful if you're going to drop a bunch of coin on this car). Maybe you can see if there is someone who can appraise the car or something. I don't have the money to buy a collectible car, so I don't know exactly how that works...

the car belonged to her husband who died a few months ago.He was really into camaros and bought it as an investment. We talked about it today and it sounds like the best way to go is ebay since its a bigger market. We just dont know what the car is worth and so far we cannot figure out a price for it.Ebay has a couple of the LT1s for between 20-30 thousand so a LT4 one with only 200 miles is worth quite a bit more.
