Default what parts should i get next

i have a 94 z28 6-speed with a Moroso intake,air-foil,MSD ignition, exhaust cut outs,3:73 gears, and a NX 100 shot. I need to make it faster because my ford friend with a 04 gt with cold air intake, 70mm throttle body and plenum, pro chambers, flowmaster mufflers, and 3:73 gears is right on my bumper, his best 1/4 mile time of 13.7 and 1/8 time of 8.7,i dont know what mine is but its just a little bit faster than that, I have never raced him with nitrous because we both know i would tear him a new one but i want to be at least 2 car lenghts in front of him with out spraying. I have about $1,000 to $1,500 to spend. What should i get next. thanks.
