i will try to get video of it but i don't have a camera so i will have to try to find one. wish me luck! lol

And happy anniversary, you buying rounds for everyone?

it went according to plan????
that is awesome and congratulations.
Now you need to find an S10 or Ford Ranger and drop the old engine into that.

haha...we got about a million s10's and i'd LOVE to do it...but one motor swap is enough for a while, lol.
as promised...
after the original motor had been separated from the tranny(notice the whole front suspension with it)
old engine sitting on a stand out of the way. it was in trouble
new engine sitting on a stand awaiting install
there's so much more room to work when there's no engine!
new engine mated with the tranny and ready to go back under the car(this is about the time i started getting REALLY excited)
and here's a little video of her running. sorry its not the best quality, it was taken with my digital camera, lol
all in all, it wasn't too bad. took about 3 hours to get the motor out...probably took us a total of 10 hours to get it back in...but we deleted a lot of wiring and took quite a few breaks. have her back home in the garage. haven't driven it much as its been really rainy here lately. hope you guys enjoy!
