Default Vss 93 z

Unrelated to my other thread I started about rear end gears, tail shaft speedo gears ect,....My speedo stopped working. I have a volt meter, what voltage should I expect on the two wires going to the VSS? 93 Z auto, Thanks,

after chasing around voltage that just didn't seem right to me at the VSS pigtail it turned out to be the VSS dowel pin was sheared off inside the tail. I had just replaced the drive gear back there, you would think I would look there first. Anyways I need a new VSS...that is specific to my 93? or is there other years that would work? Thanks.
