hello i have a 97 v6 5speed what all do i have to change to swap out the motors. im just guessing the ls1 or lt1 will not just bold up from the v6. thanks for any info on this....

hay, this question is asked quite often. to do the switch right u will need to come up with a z28 with a blown motor for cheap. u will need the ecm and engine compartment wireing, dash gages and wireing, engine bay including the front suspension, drive line and i think the rear end. also think the transmissions are different.

 

Search the forum, there is a plethora of Information.

 

The easiest and cheapest way is to jack up the gas cap, and pull a v8 car underneath it.
