found lots of things i want to put into my motor. now i just need to figure out if i want to find a z28 that needs a motor to put the one i have in then build up and keep my current camaro (99 v6 5speed) or sell and get a running z28 and use as a daily driver and build the motor out of the car. i found a 95 z28 with a stick. guy says its not getting spark to plugs. would this be the opti spark acting up.

Hard to say from the pics. If the rest of the car is in really, really good nick, then it might be worth about $2000, tops. Non-running cars are a complete gamble as to what will need to be done to get them back on the road. Never, ever trust the seller in a non-running situation.
There are so many things that could be wrong with it to not get spark. Even the easy things can cost you some bucks and broken knuckles to get straight. If anyone has been hacking on the wiring harness, then you could potentially be buying into a migraine of biblical proportions.
I might consider offering about $1500 and letting them get me up to $2000, but again that is only if the rest of the car is in really good condition.

I used to feel this way, but after all I've read about our week 10-bolt 7.5" rear ends, I'm glad I have an auto. Plus the moderate stall converter I have has made it reallllly fun.
