Nice. I'm a cheapskate and can't pay $1k for just exhaust but would consider one of the lesser expensive exhaust kits and headers..

I have the Pacesetter painted ones, and they are doing fine. If I were to do it again though, I'd opt for the coated headers at the least, if not the Kooks.

I will start looking..how bad was the header install? I am looking to knock it all out at once if possible for simplicities sake. To ask the dumb question...all I would need is headers, a Y pipe and some form of catback exhaust? Or if I decide against headers then just a y pipe and catback?

Not as bad as every one made it out to be. I think it only took us 2 hours to install. Drive went in from the top, passenger from the bottom.

Easiest way is headers, y pipe, cat back. If you decide against headers, you just need the cat back. Go stainless where you can so you never have to worry about it again.

Every one mentioned there cat backs so I'll mention mine. It's a Phab system that's completely stainless and tig welded. Nice in quiet at idle, picks up noise around 2500, settles back down until 4k and from there on it's just straight awesomeness (my dads words). The only issue I've had so far is a barely audible rattle that I have not been able to pin point yet. But will find because it annoys the hell out of me.

Yeah looking under the car...looks like a hillbilly hackjob..where the cat should be is a pipe welded in very poorly. So it looks like any kind of salvaging of the "delete pipe" is out the window...just need a jack that will fit under the car (lowered 2"s) and order the parts.

you want to keep the headers and y pipe the same brand. i did the headers and y pipe first. then about a year later did the cat back. i dont think it would be any harder to do it the other way unless you have a oddball setup.

Yeah no bueno. Nice car but the silly shtuff I'm finding is irritating. Like now instead of buying a nice catback system I am having to buy a ton of more crap that I don't want to lol.
