timing gears on 1997 LT1

timing gears on 1997 LT1

can anyone tell me offhand when i line my timing gears up on their marks on a 1997 LT1 (timing at 6 and crank at 12) if this is t.d.c. compression on #1 cyl.

Yes, that is correct. Cam at 6 and crank at 12
