timing chain

what kinda timing chain comes on lt1's? cause when i do the cam i wanna put a roller timing chain on there.

Can't use roller timing chain on LT1 without a lot of mods to the front of the engine. You can use the heavy duty chain & gears from teh LT4, but it is expensive, and still not a roller chain.

You should put in a new chain & timing gears, the oldchain is probably stretched out and the gears a little chewed up.

well i might as well put the LT4 ones in then since they are more heavy duty
