i found a set of ls7 lifters for 125, good deal?

i would pull the valve cover and start the car to confirm its a lifter and not an exhaust leak. noise should get louder when you remove the valve cover.

ok, is taking off the valve cover as easy as it seems? just those 1 or 2 nuts?
and just as simple to put back on?

its 4 10mm bolts but to get the left cover off you need to take of the alt

its the driverside, but i guess ill go take a look,, i can start it with the cover off right?

ya but some oil is going to get out its going to hit the exhaust and start burning

how much oil, ive read that it can be alot, is that true?

id say if you ran the car for 10 minutes you could lose about a qt but you only need to run if for 30 seconds

ok,,, so if the noise gets louder that means i need a new lifter? do i just replace that one,,or do i have to do them all then? and is it a simple fix or would i have to make sure its a certain way? i couldnt find any info on it, (without cam or heads) and would ls7 lifters be fine?
