Default T56 question

I recently bought a 1995 Z28 with a T56 tranny. but the engine was out due to a oil drive gear failure. I fixed all that and installed a new oil pump as well. Now I have never messed with a manual tranny this new. How does these forks go? ones on the tranny and I see the slave, its been unbolted and theres another fork laying in my floorboard.....lol. wheres it go. It has a stage 4 Spec set up for a clutch. the throw out bearing is attached to the pressure plate already...correct. Anyone have any pic of this....im such a noob when it come to manuals tranny.

I remmeber old manual with a throw out bear mounting on the fork, but that 70's model im think of, this looks different. Thanks for any help..

If you look at the diagrams Craby posted you can see that these transmissions use a "pull" style clutch not a "push" style like the older transmissions you may be used to. The fork rotates on the pivot ball in the reverse direction. To do this the slave cylinder bolts to the back of the bellhousing pushing forward so the fork can pull back on the throwout bearing on the other end. There is only one fork, so without a picture of what it is I have no idea where the one on your floorboard goes.
