95 z28 replacing my engine, guys i need help everything was going so beutiful till i got stuck with my t-56, my engine is like 3 inches away from the trans and it just wont come out got kinda frustrated so i will try it on sunday ....any trick to this thanks guys..

 

being u have a pressure plate to deal with i would say its not out far enough. i take it the motor is coming out the top?

 

im 100% sure something is holding the dam shaft i havent look really into it but i might have to remove the fork maybe????

 

nope the throw out bearing and fork should not hold it up. make sure u have all the wires and stuff unhooked again. i think its going to need to come out a little more than three inches to clear the pressure plate.

 

did you pull the fork straight back it my be locked on the throw out bearing try that

 

how can something so small be so evil haha,, lesson to be learn before you do anything slave cylinder has to come out and slide the dam fork.. the fork was holding the throw out bearing i moved it a lil straight back the bam the fork came off like nothing before it wouldnt come out i was beating on it like crazy and nothing thanks guys........youre the man junky24
