superchargers and turbos

not to be a ****, but its nitrous NOS is a brand of nitrous accessories. My LS1 runs strong on the spray.
And LT1s and LS1s can be deadly as f*ck when boosted. Some mods are a smart idea to be safe. Its much more expensive though

spend the money you were going to spend on a charger system and build your bottom end. go with a low compression forged 383. use quality parts...then save for your charger. at least then your motor will be able to run high HP numbers NA and be able to handle more boost when you slap it on there

I like the idea of a little lag it helps getting off the line. If you put the turbo in the back you gain more power with the same boost. The air has a chance to cool a little before it is forced into the intake. The c5 vet makes an extra 50 horses just from putting the turbo out back. The plumbing would be a pain but for that much more power it makes since to me. You also have to upgrade the fuel system either way you go most provide you with upgrades and programmer unless you try to piece it together from scratch.
