Default Sup everyone?

Hi everyone. Names Dan,
Im new to the form.

Just wanted to drop by and say hey.

My car that i just got, is a 1994 Z28 Auto, with 57,000 on it. it was only $4200.

It has Edelbrock headers and i think some kind of flowmaster cat back.
It also has 3:73 gears.

I also have a question, Could somone tell me where the z28 autos should shift at? because it seems as if this one shifts at like 6k rpm, it seems a little high..

thanks everyone

Welcome to the forum Dan.
You could've posted this in the new members area, but that's up to you. Got any pics?

I finally put the one picture I have up.
The car is away for the Winter so I cants get any more pics atm.

But yeah, the cars shifts at around 6k at WOT.

Also, when it shifts, it kind of shifts...slow..or like rough..not sure. ..it could just be 57,000k of no ATF fluid changes and simple stuff like that.
I was going to get the Hypertech Power Programmer 3 module, because the car came with 3:73s so i need to fix the speedometer. Is that a good idea?

Now, im sure this car wasnt tuned by the original owner, is it a big deal to tune with exhaust, and soon-to-be intake?

Welcome to the forum man, and happy thanksgiving . As for tuning, I tuned mine with the same programmer you mentioned with exhaust and intake and haven't run into any problems, i don't see why it would be a big deal

Welcome to the forum!

Your shift point for WOT doesn't sound too high, stock it sits at 5700 or 5800. I would recommend having PCMforLess tune your computer. It's going to the 1/2 the price of a Hypertech tuner and they'll be able to do more (if you had more in mind).
