Default Stronger rear end

Hello all I am new here, what would be a good rear end to replace the stock with. I am building a street car and do not trust the stock to hold that kind of power

for wich car ,there is thread to build the 10 bolt to handle 500+ Hp an save ton over a 12 bolt ford like $400, as to 2 to 3 k ,its called stregthening the 10 bolt an craby posted it somewhere hear in the 4th gen section ,its my plan with 3,42 so if you not going over that look at it,it mentions a 28 spline being the key to makeing it stronger ,my stock 10 bolt has held up pretty well with like near 500 tlbs ,but near time to make it stronger without breaking the bank,i went there an for some reason not there. but key was 3.42 an 28 is enough for me to know what to get

Stock rear end is fine for most cars. What kind of power? A street car can have has little as 100HP or as much as 1000.

12 bolt or S60 imo. Everyone praises the 9in and yes, it's strong, but it sucks up a good amount of HP

I was wondering I'm putting a 361 Chevy in my stock v6 car and was wondering what all I could do. I'll look into that thread. Is my stock v6 rear end a 10 bolt?

U need to provide more information about your car Coty. A automatic trans car will be much more forgiving to the rear end than a manual trans car will. Shock loading is much less. But if you don't post what you have we don't know.

FYI My A4 car with 3.23 gears in the rear has close to 100 launches, uncounted burnouts with sticky drag radials but remains quite/trouble free. I do have a TA performance cover on it that has added clamping on the bolt caps inside. I think Summit and or Jeg's sell them now for a few bucks less. Also have Yukon axles do to a unrelated reason.
