Default stroker questions

I've got a 93 z28, and i'm not clear on what kit to use. Should i get one disigned for a 350 small block or for a LS1? Honestly i know a lot more about mustangs than these (had those forever), so what's a displacement that will make good power but still be streetable?

use sbc assembly with 1 piece rear main. powers mostly in the valvetrain/heads a 355 would do great 383 is the cheapest stroker. a 396 is easily streetable but is more machine work. streetability is all in the cam

great advice there from rob.

a lot of people THINK they need a stroker to make a lot of power, however the stock shortblock with a good heads/cam package can make upwards of 450HP to the rear wheels. a stroker or 355 just makes it a little safer and holds up to the abuse better
