i forgot to mention that the car starts when i'm cranking sometimes, but it start for about 2-3 seconds and the rpm is really low around 400-500 rpm, then it dies! and yes puffs from exhaust!! shakes yes that too!. i'm going to check for spark!! how do i start?

Usually, less than 1000 miles after it gets wet.
i replace my water pump about 2000 miles ago the seal on the shaft that already started to leak!

it could be the fact that the water pump is leaking and is driping on to the opti....cause my car sometimes does the same thing u described and it only did it after it rained and there was alot of moisture in the air. hope this helps some, but that was just my guess as to why my car did that sometimes.
