Default SS/Z28

What are the differences between the Z28 model and the SS model? 1997 specifically.

2 different engines 305 and 310, forced air induction, restyled rear decklid spoiler, restyled suspension on coupe and t-tops, ZR-1 styled Cast Aluminum rims, synthetic oil and SS badges.

SLP projected they would build 3000 Z28's into SS's but production actually did not fell short of this.

The engines were exactly the same, the only difference was the intake which is why they produced a little more HP from the factory. You can get the same HP results by replacing the Z28 intake with a CAI since "ram air" is only functionaly "ramming" if doing 80+ mph. SLP offered many different options and aside from the appearance and intake the cars only got what you ordered it from the factory with.

This may not make it past mods but it's really funny.

Once again, what was listed is what EVERY SS came with, everything else was an option.

Sure...I'll release you

And yes, this thread pops up very often, thus why I've become so good at answering it. Some people just choose not to search I guess, no matter, it takes me 3 minutes max to respond to it anymore.
