Default Sparkplug replacement HELP

I do not want to sound like a idiot, but I need advice about changing my sparkplugs. Today I had my '94 Z28 up on a lift and was able to change the drivers side plugs with relative ease. When I got to the passenger side there is no room. I managed to get one changed. Question is can the plugs be change without dropping the exaust? If so, How? Buddy of mine with much smaller hands tried and he had no luck. Any advise appreciated. Thanks in advance

you could always pull the engine, that might be easier

no but the have an extension for spark plug wrenches that you can buy at a auto store for spark plugs that would make it easier

I found the easiest way is to drop the exhaust pipe from the manifold, but you also have to drop the pipe from the driver side because they are welded toghether. As an alternative you can removethe starter and AC compressor.

Thanks for the advise. I was hoping not to have to drop the exaust but that looks to be the only way I am going to be able to get to it. Thanks again to all.

As far as taking off the exaust I have never done it on the camaro. However I have done it on other vehicles and it is never easy. But if you have access to a car lift I think the job will be alot easier. I will be doing it sometime next week I will let you know how it goes.
