Default Spark Plugs!

Which should I get? The AC Delco or the NGK's? I hear both are good and bad but which is the best bank for the buck and what gap do I need? (specs in signature). Thanks!

ac/delco is what is used from the factory, you cant go wrong with them and they arent expensive either

I agree with that, as long as you don't have nitrous or something where you're going to need a colder plug you may as well go OEM.

What about supercharged? Do I need different plugs? Also, what kind from AC Delco do you recommend? Thank you.

I put Bosch Iridium plugs in my 92 LT-1 Vette, and I like them. They're 4-prong surface gap plugs, so you don't gap them.

Some of my mechanic friends and lots of other people say those aren't good with LT1s and they aren't that good or reliable in general. I just heard lots of problems with them so I would want to stay clear but if they are really good, then I would consider it.

I've heard the rhetoric about how the 4-prong plug is a goofy idea, since the electricity will follow the path of least resistance and just pick one prong to fire to anyway. Can't honestly say that I noticed a performance difference one way or another. But, I just like the concept of a surface fire plug as opposed to a shielded side gapped plug.

I recommend the AC Delco platinum plugs that came in the car.
