shocks
I had my Camaro inspected at Meineke (spell?) yesterday, and they told me the front tires are showing unusual wear, which means my shocks need to be replaced....well, I have been thinking of putting an entire new suspension on the car and was wondering what you all would suggest? What brand would you go with for the best sport suspension? I want something that will really stick in the turns without much body roll at all.
Thanks for any suggestions.

RE: shocks
If you bring the stock suspension up to new condition, you will find that the car can handle pretty well. The 4th gen Camaros have a much improved front end geometry as compared to the older models. You can go with stiffer springs, shocks, and sway bars, but the improvement will only be noticeable on perfectly smooth roads. When going over rough roads, the stiff suspension won't be able to reacts to road irregularities fast enough to keep the wheels planted to the surface resulting in poor handling. What would help more, is stiffening up the body via subframe connctors and strut tower braces in front, and replacing the weak control arms and panhard bar in the rear suspension.

RE: shocks
Body Roll.........You want body roll, drive a Mustang. Seriously, The 4th gen Camaro Z28/SS is as close to a Corvette as You can get without the cash outlay. The factory suspension needs little to be improved. Maybe larger sway bars ( shouldn't affect the ride quality )and New shocks but not stiffer. Make sure all bushings are good and You're as good as it gets. The 4th gens pull .9 G's on the skidpad so don't overdo it.
