Default sequential fire injection ?

I have a 93 camaro with a lt1 and a auto tranny. Im in the process of building a 396 to replace my wore out 350. Im already going to update the distributor. I want to convert the car to sequential injection while im doing these changes. Im figuring on finding a 94 or 95 harness and pcm and a maf sensor but will the car side of the pcm match up to my existing harness? Would all the swapping be benificial or am i just going to waste my time and money? Thanks for the help.

Sequential injection will not help much power wise, but can help a little with economy and pollution. The 93 ( batch injection) & the 94 (sequential injection) have the same power rating.
