Default Rust on 4th gens

I owned a 1990 RS-V8 from 1990 to 1998. By about 1997 it was starting to rust on the wheel wells and under the front of the hood. I am in the market for another older Camaro but most of the 3rd gens I see have this same rust. I know the front fenders and doors of the 4th gen won't rust, but what about the rest of the car? Are there any problem areas? I haven't noticed any rusted 4th gens, but I haven't looked that much.
