Default roller rockers 7/16 or 3/8

i have a 96 z28 with the lt1. i want to order roller rockers preferably 1.6 ratio. but dont want to rip into it and find what to order i am confused if i need the7/16 studed ones or the 3/8 or do i have to take the valve covers off cause it came with both. which would meen more down time and i have to get this back on the road.

3/8" studs are standard on the LT1 heads. 7/16" are desirable for high performance, but will require that the stud holes be drilled and tapped.

holy crap...sorry Pete, but I think this may be the one time that I've seen something wrong from you*gasp* The stock LT1 heads are equiped with 3/8" studs but they actually taper down to that size, you can put a 7/16" stud right into an LT1 head, the actual stud holes in the head are made for the 7/16" studs.
