Roller rear fender lip
I need to roll that lip on my rear quarter panel, my tires scrub alittle when I go over a hard bump. How to you roll it with out chipping the paint on the outside where it can be seen...

There is no way to be a 100% sure your 17 year old paint will not chip. I would use a hair dryer on the paint and get it warm before I tried to move it. The best way to roll lip is to use one of these: Fender Roller Tool, Fender Rolling Tool For Sale With How To & DIY Instructions
You could also try a rounded plastic mallet and just do a little at a time. The key to moving metal is lots of light taps, hit the metal hard will damage or strech the metal.
Have you tried You tube for how too videos?

Eastwood also has this type of fender roller, they call a finisher. Fender Rolling - Rolling Fenders - Fender Lip Rolling Tool - Fender Lip Roller
i have one of the rollers and if you heat the paint it will work good. i used a heat gun and was carefull not to over heat. kinda hard to get it to start on mine but once it started workin it went pretty quick. dang your a long ways away, i was gona say you pay shipping both ways and you can use it but that would probly be 50 bucks.

Hey, if you know enough guys in the area who can use it, you could get into the fender lip rolling business.
What's better than giving lip service, and getting paid for it!

Buy tool for $270, use once, sell it for $240. That is the great thing about tools they do not devalue quickly. I have seen guys do it with engine lifts many times. Keep it a month or two sell it and the total cost is less than a renal would cost for a single weekend.
Careful using the heat gun those thing are designed to strip paint.

However, it takes a while and is a PITA. You will definitely want to heat up the fender. I have a IR temp sensor, which helped to not 'over-heat' the paint.
I only need a slight roll or 'finish'. It works good for that. It's a PITA because you can only do a small section at a time and you need to keep the heat up...not too bad if you have an extra hand to keep temp up.
If you need a major roll, best to buy the tool that bolts up to where your wheel goes, roll the fender...then sell it.
