Default to remove or not to remove?

i am just wondering if i remove the evap system coming from the exhaust manifolds and everything else (including air pump) if i will run into any problems afterwards? i take care of it and everything so i dont see a need of it being on there and besides, i like the room.

I HAVE THE BBK'S TOO AND I TOOK OUT THE SYSTEM BUT IT WAS A PAIN IN THE *** TO FIND CAPS TO PLUG THE BUNGS FROM THE HEADERS, I ENDED UP USING TWO BRONZE FLARE CAPS (I THINK 5/8") BUT BECAUSE I LIVE IN CALI I LEFT THE SMOG PUMP ON N JUS DISCONNECTED THE ELECTRICAL TO IT..

Just keep in mind all that work will do absolutely nothing for performance, but cause you problems with the inspection people. The AIR pump only runs when the car is warming up and keeps the O2 sensors from fouling up. All that the EVAP stuff does is to keep fuel fumes from escaping the tank, and with the price of gas, that may be a good thing.

thanks guys. the reason why i am removing everything because the pump doesnt work anyway. it keeps blowing fuses. i am gonna shave off the evap part of the header and plate over it to clean it up alittle under the hood.
