Default Rear Tires

Ive been looking at the forums and over at the z28 forum at the rear tires sizes. Im gonna throw on some street tires on the rear, for the winter. But I dont know what size will work. I have 29-10 15 slick now, so will a 275 60 15 tires fit without scrubbing. Im thinking a 275 tire is a 28in tire, so it should have more clearance.??

You could always do what I was planning to do when we had snow. Find some crappy steel wheels that'll fit and put some skinny tires (205 or 225 work) on the rear. Won't ruin your nice wheels and the skinnier tires will work better for traction in the snow.

275/60/15 will fit

depending on the back space of your wheel you may have to cut/trim the bump stop but they will absolutely fit, I run them on my car. This was with the spring spacers in and a 15x10 7.5 BS

Im running 15x8 i believe the are the correct back space for a z28....well they came off one. I had to grind the fins down on my brake calipers for these wheel.....and i have 29-10-15 slicks on them now. Thats y i was think 275-60 would be fine...

I have no worries here in the south for snow...lol

Winter, with no snow, is no "winter"! That's more of just a "cooler season".

lol, my brother moved down to SC about 10 years ago. If they get even a light dusting of snow, the town practically shuts down. Hardly anybody knows how to drive on the stuff.

Icy parking lots + RWD = Lots of fun!

But yeah no snow isn't really winter. That's why I suggested skinny tires. I thought there'd be snow involved.
When we say winter up here, it (except this year) means 2+ feet of snow, ice, slush, lots of gravel and salt, rusted vehicles, below degree weather from November till late February and lots of (not) fun!
