Default Rear disc brakes, 1995 Z28

Has anyone changed rear pads on the Z28? The emergency brake mechanism is getting in the way. The top bolt on the caliper is easy to loosen, but there's a hex key on the bottom that's near impossible to get a hex key wrench on. Is there a different way to get the e-brake mechanism out of the way so I can get the caliper off?

Default E brake

It was a while ago when I did this. What I recall is taking the entire ebrake assembly off of the disc rotor. There is some kind of hardware holding it on. Look for any screws or bolts holding it on. If that does not help. I would suggest searching on youtube so you can have a visual aide.
