Do we have hydraulic or roller cams? Do we need guide plates for putting in 1.6 roller rockers?

 

The LT1 comes with hydraulic roller cam , and self aligning rockers. If you use self aligning rockers you do not need guide plates. If you are going to use non aligning rockers, you will need to get guide plates and hardned push rods.
