Whammer: It's tough to find a Dynatech Y-Pipe, I don't know if you can mate a different brand up or not.

chevyfreak: They should have one set of O2 bungs for your pre-cat O2 sensors. I'm not sure what year your car is, so you may or may not have to get O2 sims for your aft-cat O2 sensors if your car is 96 (or 95 for California cars) or later.

that's right slvr...it was the y-pipe. i knew it was something. you could probably have an exhaust shop fab one up though.

and putting headers on an lt1 can be a real PITA

I agree, headers on an LT1 is a freaking nightmare at times. I hope you, or one of your friends has small arms and fingers.

Those LPP headers look pretty nice, the only thing about them is most people don't need the flow of a 1 7/8" stepped header, you need to be making some serious HP to take advantage of that.

I am not looking to put some serious hp in my car yet. Ihave a drag car to satisfy me there. I want it to sound good and run like a raped ape! on the street unless my 125000 motor goes bad on me but we will talk about that later

Check out the website, it says they're a 1 3/4 to 1 7/8 stepped header, which would be perfect for all of us LT1 guys that are running a 415+ CID motor or revving our LT1's to 7000 rpm....

chevyfreak: Thanks for the compliments, the video doesn't do the car justice on low frequency rumble at all, which is kinda sad to me, but you take what you can get right?
