Default Question about LT headers?

Will I have to relcocate any thing with long tube headers, like the cat. Or will ever thing work out with long tubes and the y pipe?

You should ask the peple that made them, each brand is a little different.

Typically any LT header you will have to relocate the cats and the Y, unless somehow you find a LT header that doesn't go farther back than the oil pan.(not gonna happen). I suggest getting LT headers and a catted Y pipe, if you relocate the cat at the end of a off road Y, more than likely it won't work because it can't get hot enough, the cats pretty much need to some right off the collector. Plus, if you upgrade to a catted Y, you'll have a dual cat system, and if they are both high flow, it'll buy you some HP too.

Ok cause i was hopeing that the long tubes would come down intersect with the new y pipe im buying and line up directly with the cat. But now that i have to move the cat im not sure if my after market exaugst will line up.

The middle of the stock cat position and heat shield is about where the collector on my passanger side header is, so the cat is a bit farther back than it origionally was, the driver side is about on the same place, but obviously on the side of the car that never had a cat. My suggestion, chop the part of the aftermarket system you don't need off, if Pacesetter makes a decent product, the Y and the stock exhaust location should line up, my Y lined up well enough that I was able to clamp the Y and the stock pipe.
