Default Plug wires ?

I am going to be replacing the plug wires soon and wanted opinions on wire sets. I usually just buy the Advance Auto or AutoZone brands but am thinking about spending a little extra for Accel or MSD. Are they worth the extra cost? Is there a noticeable difference. What size? The wires on the car almost look original. I am assuming the opti is original as well. I put new NGK plugs in it when I did the heads. (I know, I should have put the wires on while I was doing the head gaskets). Best I can tell, the only mod this car has is a Cat delete and a K&N CAI.

unmodofied your car will be fine with oem style wires but, why not try a set of Jegs wires for around $30 or $40? THey are 8.5mm and I've got 2 problem free years on mine.

You can always pay over $100 if you want so you can say you have a brand name

Thats what I don't want to do is pay just for a name brand with no noticable difference, regardless of what part I am buying. I looked at the JEGS, looks like around $44 dollars shipped.

Just buy a good set of at least 8MM wires with 90 deg boots. Don't be too cheap on them.

I ordered the JEGS wires and they came today. I'm impressed with the looks of them. Going to put them on this weekend. They also sent a hat and couple stickers!

I did the plugs when I replaced the head gaskets. Should have done the wires too but since I bought the car with the head gaskets blown, I wanted to make sure the oil pressure was good on the car before I spent more money on it than I had too.
