Default Please help..if anyone can..lt-1 problem.

Ok guys thanks for listening. My car is a 93 z28 AUTO.
- Exaust/intake... other than that it is stock.
-100,000 miles on the clock. Never had problems with it although we have only had it about 5000 miles.
-Never felt any problems with the trans, and being the owner of cars that have, I felt as though the tranny was in good shape.

The problem,
Yesterday with a friend in the car I put my foot down at a stop light.
And when done correctly, with the auto you get a great *** kicking response.
lol anyway, I put my foot down and heard a bam! Not like ...exaust bam but like "metal to metal malfunction" .
Really dont know where it came from, initially I was thinking rear end.
So a few stop lights away, I put my foot into it again...Bam!
Like I ran over a rock or something...Could not tell this time where it came from.
All I know is, its in direct response to smashing the throttle.
So from about a 40 mph roll, I put my foot down, bam! everytime.
It usually downshifts fine when I hit it, not always smoothly but it was fine before this started happening yesterday.
When I drive it normally it runs like always, perfectly fine. I tried the highway and everything..no noises from trans, no grinding in rear end....wtf...
Im worried its something bad, and im sure my description is vauge. But hey thanks a bunch for looking and your feedback guys...

Sounds like a bad transmission mount, replace it with a polyurethane mount and you should be good to go (obviously you want to check to make sure that's really what's broken before you replace it, but it's a common issue)

yep thats what its like. bump right at the seat. can u feel the throttle moving werd. i had problems using a poly trans mount on my 93 so if u use a poly one and get vibations thats y and u will need to get a stock one to stop the vibration.

mount was not much 18. bucks for the stock one if i remember right. real easy to change if u got a couple jack stands and a floor jack. had to change mine twice to get rid of the poly one.
