I had a 94 Z28 and it would run real sh%ty and the dealership couldn't figure it out then after I flipped out on them they finally scanned the computer and realized that the water pump had gone bad and was dripping water right into the distributor causing it to miss fire and tach itself up at an idle. After running like that for a couple months they fixed it and about a week later the cats clogged up solid and the dealer could not understand why their failure in diagnosing an ignition problem cause the cats to clog. Dealers have no clue about cars.

beg to differ. Most of them just like to play stupid so they don't have to pay up on mistakes. Our chevy dealership here has a service manager that way, but they actually have some really smart technicians.

Default Coolant temp sensor?

Just a thought but try to test/ inspect the coolant temp sensor for problems. This could tell your computer to add more fuel if it thinks the engine is always cold when it isn't. If you have scanner access see if your car is reaching closed loop operation. Just a thought- good luck
