Default Performance ?

Hi Im new to this forum.I have a 93 camaro z28 with the lt1 350 and a 6 speed manual. I have put on a cat back exhaust....k&n cold air intake system and Im planning on putting a chip in the computer. To those that have done the chip how much of a difference have you noticed? Im debating on doing the chip or the 58mm throttle body. Which direction would you go at this point?

you really wont get much performance out of it, especially with the limited mods you have done. I would go for longtube headers first. then you can start looking at doing the computer when you upgrade something a little more involved.

You will not see any big gains from the TB at this point as its not limiting your flow at this point. I would agree with spec on this one and go with a good set of headers and a good y pipe if you dont already have one.

After the long tube headers go with gears doenst give you horsepower but will be something you will fill and with a 6 speed you can run 4.11s Will bring down gas mileage but not to bad

you will see slight variations from car to car but typically its about 275 im pretty sure. they may have upped the ratings to 280 for some years, but that doesnt really mean anything.

Ok so the bolt on arent really where its at i guess. I was told that my computer wont handle ( being its a 93) any real internal engine mods. I was thinking about starting a short block build for the car. Not sure where to even start because of the computer issues i was told about.
