Default Pcm reprogrammers

I have a 94 Z-28, automatic w/ intake and exhaust. Im considering buying a Hypertech or other similar type of reprogrammer. Theres got to be someone out there who has used one on an lt1 car. Im trying to find out how much differance it will really make and is it worth the $$.

I used one im my car and noticed very little difference in power. On the track it showed little difference. The only good thing I can say about it, is that it allows you to change shift quality and shift RPM, and rev limiter settings. For less money you can get the PCM professionally tuned for all your mods.
